Director, Tissue Source Site Management
Mr. Shad joined NDRI in 2007 as a Fulfillment coordinator. He then served as NDRI’s first Director of Fulfillment before moving into his current position as Director of Tissue Source Site Management. He has comprehensive research recovery operations experience and expertise in all aspects of facilitating the recovery of human tissues for research.
In his current role, he oversees all activities related to the management of our Tissue Source Sites (TSS), which includes a vast network of organ procurement organizations, tissue banks, eye banks, hospital systems, and other tissue recovery professionals. He is also responsible for NDRI’s Private Donor Recovery program, which aims to enroll individuals with rare diseases into various donation programs.
Mr. Shad holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Pennsylvania State University. He is also a member of the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB).
